A new care home opened its doors to the public in April 2009. Amberley House, in Ubberley Road, Bentilee, is a 76-bed, purpose-built nursing home. The home provides nursing services in single, en-suite accommodation. There is also a choice of dining areas and an enclosed landscaped garden. All residents have access to planned activities and a wide range of professionals including a hairdresser, chiropodist, optician and GP.
