Burslem School of Art in Queen Street, Burslem. It was built in 1905. In 1999 the Edwardian building was re-opened after a £1.2-million refurbishment. Since then it has staged more than 200 exhibitions by local, national and international artists and designers. The School of Art is now totally self-funding and employs three people.
