Young architects, including Zoe Fudge, pictured, visited a Stoke-on-Trent in March 2007 anc competed to design innovative housing and help reverse the decline in the city’s population. Entrants to the Europan 9 housing design competition toured the 2.29 hectare area of cleared land in the 'City Waterside' neighbourhood.
