Steven Hughes was one of the first people to move into City Waterside after work began in 2006. City Waterside demonstrates how RENEW North Staffordshire is working with partners and the local community to transform a previously run-down area into a thriving community of new and old homes. The developed land is on the former Johnson Brothers' pottery site, alongside the Caldon Canal in Hanley.
