There are just over 160 homes in Fegg Hayes Village, which sits in the suburban estate of Fegg Hayes. A comprehensive package of regeneration work is planned for the village - some of which was delivered in 2008/2009. This included: Clearance of some homes which are no longer fit to live in; building new homes that meet local need including bungalows and family homes; refurbishing many of the remaining homes and enhancing the wider neighbourhood with new boundary walls, landscaped gardens and communal facilities. Up to June 2009, more than £1 million had been invested into the area.
