Unity House (March 06)

Demolition of Unity House in Hanley, 2006
Region: Hanley

The demolition of Unity House in Hanley. It was built in 1973 and used by Stoke-on-Trent City Council staff. It was demolished in March 2006 as part of the regeneration of the city centre by RENEW North Staffordshire and its partners.

I will be glad to go. It’s not a nice place to live... There’s no community left here any more.
Linda Coates, Middleport
I want to see the residents of this area having a voice and RENEW to take account of their views.
