Jane Prince, of Hi-Peak Leisure, whose business went into liquidation in April 2009. She said shoppers thought the business had been already demolished. Twelve staff were made redundant. Jane blamed the closure on years of delays over plans to build a new Tesco and extend the Potteries Way in the Clough Street area of Hanley which is being redeveloped.
