Caretaker Paul Jolley was appointed in November 2007 to help look after a community where demolition is taking place under the RENEW North Staffordshire programme. Paul was introduced to families at a clean-up day organised by Aspire Housing and Newcastle Borough Council's Street Scene service. Paul works in the Lower Milehouse estate where 166 houses are being cleared to make way for a better choice of new homes.
