RENEW North Staffordshire took a group of Meir residents to visit a regeneration scheme in Manchester.  The idea was to outline how the building company David Wilson have redeveloped the area in a similar way as to what is proposed in Meir. Maggie Carter, the chairperson of Meir Steering Group was included in the tour in 2006 and is pictured in the centre of the photograph.
