Newcastle Station (1964)

Newcastle-under-Lyme train station in 1964
Region: Newcastle

Newcastle Train Station in 1964, just before the line was closed in 1965 and the cutting at The Brampton filled in. This photograph clearly shows the location towards Brunswick Street and the line heading towards the goods line in the distance. The old cuttings are now used as public walks.

I want to see the residents of this area having a voice and RENEW to take account of their views.
