RENEW North Staffordshire took a group of Meir residents to visit a regeneration scheme in Warrington, Cheshire. The idea was to outline how the building company David Wilson have redeveloped the area in a similar way as to what is proposed in Meir. Maggie Carter, the chairperson of Meir Steering Group was included in the tour in 2006.
