Designed in the 19th Century by A.W.N. Pugin, one of the foremost architects of the Victorian age, St Giles Roman Catholic Church in Cheadle town centre, also known as Pugin's Gem, is regarded as one of the finest churches in Britain.

It looks absolutely brilliant, as good as a new house! It makes me feel proud to live here.
